RED MOUNTAIN RANCH COUNTRY CLUB Nearby Red Mountain Ranch Country Club, (Las Sendas Golf Club is located on what was formerly known as Red Mountain Ranch), managed by Cobblestone Golf Group, is a Pete Dye Design 18-hole course complete with signature railroad tie reinforced moundings, steeply contoured multi-level greens and crater-like bunkers. A shorter course with a yardage of 6,797 feet, it is rated par 72 with a 144 slope. Dan Machande is the resident golf pro of this PGA approved course offering championship, two men's and a ladies tee markets. |
Nestled beneath Mesa's own version of the magnificent red rock formations of Sedona, Red Mountain provides a stunning contrast between endless blue skies and shimmering lakes, and the impeccably maintained fairways of this challenging, but not quite so demanding course. Hole #3, a 452, par 4 dogleg-left hole with a very narrow landing area is considered the most challenging on this target-landing pad designed course. The shortest distance hole, in this case hole #6, par 3 and 83 yards from the ladies tee, is a semi-island green surrounded by water on three sides requiring close attention to your game. Club amenities include a 24,000 square foot rough-honed, natural finish lodge pole accented, Southwestern designed clubhouse hosting a mixed grille and the Overlook - an excellent full service dining room, pro shop and fitness room. Members enjoy a junior Olympic swimming pool, whirlpool spas, and lighted tennis courts. Red Mountain originally opened as a public course, but recently became a private member-only course last November.
