Golf Homes in Ahwatukee

The ever-growing Ahwatukee foothills area offers two comfortable,
multi-skill level courses managed by Cobblestone Golf Group.
Ahwatukee Country Club has been a community favorite since it opened to Signature Members in 1974,
Ahwatukee, derived from the Crow dialect, translates literally to mean "home of your dreams' according to club literature.
Long known as a 'gathering place" in the community, the country club is noted for its friendly atmosphere and the good food served in its recently remodeled restaurant.
A social center for new and long-time residents, active neighborhood groups relax on the patio or in the clubhouse, while spouses and friends enjoy a day on the links.
Tees offer championship, and men's and women's regular and handicap markers to accommodate every skill level.
Jay Bechers is the resident PGA golf pro.
The game starts out with an immediate attention getting 520 yard (from the men's tee) par 5, #2 hole leading off with a long fairway an dogleg-right finish to the cup.
Several holes give you a chance to catch your breath ,with overall yardage of 186 or less.
Water hazards on five of the 18 holes keep things interesting without overtaxing your desire to enjoy the game.
Public tee times are limited to after 12 noon on Saturdays and Sundays at $85, and Tuesdays and Wednesday after 12 noon at $59 per person including a cart.
